Music Teacher, Los Angeles

August 2016 - present

  • Teach voice, piano, ukulele, violin and guitar private lessons

  • Keep logs of students progression and growth, work with students to keep improving at their pace every week

  • Traveled to students home and/or teach from home studio - currently teach on Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp, and Skype

AKB Musik | New York, NY

October 2015- present

  • Teach private lessons over Zoom and built a clientele from scratch 

  • Performed at the 2018 BioFreeze San Francisco Marathon and toured LA, Sacramento, and San Francisco

  • Sang at the Sustainability Music Conference in Ambler, PA

  • Organized Benefit Concert for Imagine Scholar, a nonprofit that promotes education in South Africa

  • Crowd-funded creation of the original EP, “Light at the End of the Road” with artists, graphic designers, producers, musicians and photographers from across the nation using Indiegogo

  • Previous Resident Musician of NYC's Inspired Word, "one of the hottest open mic nights in New York City"

  • Manage and schedule monthly concerts with indie-rock band, Alethea & Co. throughout the Los Angeles Metro Area

  • Organized singing festival in Shantou, China; gigs in Freiburg, Germany; Moscow, ID; Walla Walla, WA and Portland, OR

  • Created music video "New York State of Mind" with several cinematographers, videographers, and actors

  • Created music video “Free Falling Girl” with dancers, actors, and cinematographers

  • Volunteered at the We are Family Foundation featuring Nile Rogers 

  • Write, record, and produce new songs regularly for film/television, singles, and full EPs

Asphalt Green | New York, NY

 September 2015 - March 2020

Soccer Coach/Fitness Concierge/AG6 Instructor/Mini-camps Instructor

  • Coached three teams every Saturday in different matches in the Recreational League (5-6, 7-8, 9-10) 

  • Coached 2 sets of 7-9 year old girls every Monday and Thursday afternoon for the soccer academy

  • Provided private lessons about the core of soccer to students

  • Volunteered, and ran events for Asphalt Green members and their families as the Family-Time Coach. Duties included organizing weekly family recreation time and creating scrimmages and relay-races for families

  • Worked behind the desk as a Fitness Concierge at the Asphalt Green gym

  • Created a unique curriculum for kids using interactive lighting and music equipment through Asphalt Green’s AG6 Studio and ran soccer classes for students 3-12 years old for the Asphalt Green Summer Camp

  • Worked as a Drama and Music instructor for Asphalt Green’s mini-camps

August 2016- November 2017

  • Organize three lesson plans a week to teach girls the fundamentals of soccer

  • Coordinate and support the other soccer coaches in their practices

ZogSports | New York, NY

June 2018 - March 2019

Field Manager and ZogSports Liaison 

  • Worked with different teams and many players and coaches to ensure effective communication flow and understanding 

  • Ensured games all over the New York Metro Area ran effectively and efficiently

  • Put out any fires that result (lack of air conditioning, not enough balls, lines not clear enough, fights that break out, calls on cancellation, connecting players with the main office)

Hacienda CDC  | Portland, OR

September 2014 - August 2015

Program Manager for Soccer for Success and after-school activities for at-risk youth and their families within the Hacienda community development.


Active Living Coordinator

  • Supported After-School Coordinator in development of spring curriculum and summer program

  • Co-led trips with Adventures Without Limits (AWL), Boy Scouts, and Audubon Society

  • Developed powerful parent involvement with Hacienda events

  • Communicated regularly with Somali and Latino parents about community development

  • Connected residents with domestic violence, transportation service and resident programs

  • Led trips with families to local community centers and fire-stations

  • Organized a Gang Prevention workshop with the Portland Police, for August 12th

  • Created and led community mural for National Night Out to celebrate Hacienda’s purchase of “The Sugar Shack” – a human sex trafficking site, August 4th 

  • Created weekly ‘Girl’s Group’ with the youth, to discuss topics within Girl’s Inc. curriculum


Temporary After-School Coordinator Winter 2015

  • Worked with groups of 15-30 youths, grades K - 8

  • Facilitated partnership with Harvey Scott Elementary’s after-school program

  • Organized bi-weekly workshops with the students


Soccer Coach

  • Developed a unique curriculum for students based on AC Portland, an organization sponsored by Adidas and the US Soccer Foundation to transform under-served, low-income communities through youth sports

  • Coached 2 teams of 10-20 youth ages K-2 and 3-5

  • Used ‘Open Play’ sports time as a means of violence prevention and team building 

  • Organized musicians and teams for the annual Portland Barefoot Soccer Tournament, a soccer tournament and festival to promote HIV/AIDS prevention efforts in Africa
